Tried it but can't get around the work's firewall and I've got enough music at home to keep me occupied for years smile

I cannot believe how quick it streams even if you fast fwd it's instant. Does it use P2P or is it all server hosted?

Yep been using it for a few weeks now, brilliant piece of s/w, bit like itunes but without having to buy or store anything, plays just about any song/cd on your pc/lappy higher quality than most mp3's.
All music starts on the click of a mouse button, and best of all its legal.

Agreed it is great. Quite a few cover bands though, try a search for Metallica for example and you'll get none of their music but a load of covers.

That's because they are 100% against P2P etc. But it's no great shame because the 10 albumn torrent I downloaded was disappointing and got deleted off my Ipod tongue out

How do you browse in it? Doesn't seem to be much choice in the free version.

I think you just search for what you want, then you can click on the Artist/Album to get more tracks.

You need to explore more. I've got around 300gig of music on hard drive and that doesn't even tocuh the variety of stuff on Spotify.

If i'm honest, i haven't touched WMP since i got spotify, i haven't found a need to yet!

I love it smile

Advertising revenue, for a start.

The site is beginning to get huge attention, mainly because it's so good.

I've been raving about this to everyone and anyone...it is singularly the best bit of music software to come out ever.

Am just listening to Anthrax, but with OP's comments there is all sorts..

The other night whilst having dinner we had ZZ Top, Tchaichovksy, Andrea Bocelli and James Blunt all from a few searches!

Fanbloodytastic!
