Ticketmaster problem
Discussion
Hi folks, I'm off to see Metallica on Saturday at the O2 but have just realised the train/Underground lines are so screwed up by engineering works that driving is going to be my best option. The O2 site says I must prebook my parking space, and that there are no other carparks on the whole peninsula, and that the only place I can book my parking ticket is through Ticketmaster.
I've been trying the Ticketmaster website for a couple of days, and after finding the right ticket, entering the anti-spam code, and waiting in their queue, I just get "we are unable to process your request, please use the back button" etc. I have also tried the phone line, but get a recorded message saying that all of their operators are busy due to high call volume, and that I should call back later - no option to wait in a queue or anything.
Is anyone else having problems getting through to them, or is it just me?

I've always parked at the O2 whenever I've been to see bands there. It's quite pricey but very convenient (except last time, when it took longer than usual to get out of the car park). IIRC when you go into the car park you're split into 2 lanes, one for pre-paid and one for paying on the night. You should be able to just turn up & pay, though maybe on Saturday more people will be driving, so on balance I'd persevere with the dreaded Ticketmaster. Oh, and I'll be there on Saturday too!
