Canon Rock revisited - will make you smile!

A couple of years back I posted what turned out to be a really nice thread about the unofficial competition between guitarists across the world to play the best version of Pachelbel's Canon (Rock Version).

Since then many more have tried, and many have failed. But I think the guy generally recognised as the best is Symheris for his absolutely peerless version:

Things like this annoy me though... As I really want to play the guitar... but im soooo un-musical it is unbelievable... some people can, and I cant!

I'm sorry but the original Matt Rach blows the others into the weeds. It is note perfect and so full of expression. It deviates more from the original, but is all the better for it.

The original Pachelbel's Canon I heard was by Guitar90, and that was abso-bloody-lutely superb! The version by MattRach knocks it into a cocked hat... this fella has a big future in some rockband somewhere!

Just gotta add this though - it's not Pachelbel's Canon, it's a bit more modern, but this fella knows how to play his guitars!!!

but the playing is 'funtwo' who origonally uploaded it to a Korean music site called Mule. From there an unknown fan calling himself guitar90 copied it and posted it on YouTube

Yes M'lud, I stand corrected! I remember that it was Funtwo first!

Thing is, in my mind, anyone who can do that version is a pretty nifty guitar player.. trouble is I've spent most of the evening following links, and MattRach is bloomin' fantastic with an axe in his hands.... and a bass... and a drum kit....
