Went to see them on Saturday as the end to the girlfriends birthday present, and although I'm a fan I was never really that into them. But, by god they are good live!

This link (which isn't mine) doesn't quite do it justice, but the rendition of A Day Like This was nothing short of spine tingling http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ae2U2kwu2J4 At the point where he fires the gun, the entire (wembley) arena was covered in confetti and sparkly stuff.

Of all the bands I've seen live, these guys have to be in the top 5. If you ever get a chance go see them!

That is awesome, I nearly bit the bullet & bought some tickets, but I wasn't very flush when they were released!

"One Day Like This" is a definate future classic. Can imagine that in a live set at a big venue, it would be an awesome experience.

If this song had been around when I got married, it most definately would have been my "first dance"

Oddly the lady and I have been talking about using it as our first dance.

Missdiane and I saw them at the roundhouse in Camden last year (I think) It's not really my sort of music (I like Slipknot, Metallica etc) but I thought they were really good, and would be dragged to see them again if the chance arose smile

I have been a fan for years, saw them first at this tiny little club venue in Oxford, only holds about 300 people,
I snuck right to the front,I loved it- never seen any other band so close before and the intimacy just makes for a fantastic evening.
They keep getting better and better, wasn't going to see them on this tour as nobody I know seems to like them, but after the above comment...... wink

I thought it was the year before, the one we saw was lead singer on crutches and he chucked his crutch in audience at the end from memory, I don't remember much else about that night unfortunately frown
