I quite like her - the acceptable alternative to Amy Winehouse.

She is a bit retro and does sound awfully like black girl singers from the early/mid 1960s.

I simply cannot understand why she's such a bit item. Her voice is annoying, she has zero personality of her own, and her act is repackaged cut-rate retro kitsch. The acceptable Amy Winehouse she is not, at least the (equally annoying I hasten to add) beehive has both talent and individuality, she just chooses to piss it all away. "Duffy" is musical fast food, there's nothing there.

i don't like the recent post-wino bandwagon jumping. soul is one of my favourite genres and duffy is a pale imitation imo.

Yeah that is annoying. I generally like her alternative sounding singing style, but that warbling must stop.
