Right time has come to sell my drum kit....Mainly becasue i just don't get to play it becasue it's too noisey which i suppose is fair enough. What do you guys think it's worth. Many thanks in advance. The kit i would be selling is:

Yamaha Tour Custom in ocean blue 22",12",16",18". (ordered individually, as not available as a shell pack)

Tama Brass Snare 14" x 6.5" (amazing tone) i think its a metalworks model but i will double check.

BigDog E0002 Double bass pedal and B0002 hi-hat stand.

3 cymbal stands (all boom type) pearl, premier and i think mapex. another clamp type for a splash or ride which i usually mount to the top tom mount.

Mapex snare stand.

Paiste alpha cymbals:
14" sound edge hi-hats.
16" medium crash.
20" rock ride.
12" metal splash.
15" zildjian crash (not sure what type but still sounds nice)
18" zildjian oriental china trash.

All protection racket bags although the snare has it's own leather tama bag.
Big dog cymbal bag with hardware section attached for sticks etc.

...........................

Also i have all the recording gear which i don't know if to sell with the kit or seperaetly.

7 peice eagle mic set: 4 tom mics, 2 cymbal and one bass mic (stand included).

Samson MDR8 Recording mixer.

All the cable's you would ever need.

The mic's may not be the best but they have recorded some really good stuff. I am really pleased with them.

Any advice greatly recieved. Many thanks.

Okay, I've done some reasearch. This doesn't include the recording equipment or Tama snare and case, but I've got it at about £2950. Oh sorry and the kit I used for pricing was the 5 Piece Rock set, sorry couldn't find individual prices. Really I would say round it to £3000, sorry I couldn't find values for everything. Bets of luck smile

Couldn't you list it on ebay to find out what someone is willing to pay.

Thanks z06 appreciate that.

Yeah i could list it on ebay but then i would have to put a whacking reserve on it which would cost £££s then if i did sell it the paypal fee would also be £££s frown i can't think of anywhere to sell it. maybe mike dolbear or on here.

It's the postage that would be huge!

Not sure where you are, but drum shops will often pick up if they think it's worth it. The only thing worse to sell than a car, is a drum kit.

Don't know anything about drum kits, but one thought ... would you raise more selling each item off individually on ebay ? I know my drummer pays silly money for individual items as he adds to and expands his existing kit. Might be easier to shift ? (or, strip it down to a real basic set up, and sell the rest individually ?)
