On the one show just now just said this whilst talking about redundancies with a job centre rep;

rep-"A lot of the people on the dole are white collar workers who have never needed our help or sympathy"
morrisey-"then why feel any sympathy for them?"

what tosser, its hard to explain how much I detest this git, he was talking earlier in the show about his spell of being unemployed in the 80's

"I didnt actually want to work, I couldnt think of a job I wanted so i thought I shouldnt work"

Gaaaaaaahh!

His songs are st too.

What's wrong with him heaven knows. He's miserable, now.

I'm sure i heard gasps in the audience when he said that, and the presenters were all a bit dumb struck.

I've always found him a very charming man.

I don't know, I guess he's just being honest, and evidently has no love for saying what people would like him to say. Pity there’s not more like him, regardless of how unpalatable their views may be to some.

Like Billy Bragg he's a spent force.

I always wonder how great a band Johnny Marr could have formed if he hadn't been part of the sadly mediocre one that was The Smiths. The Smiths had one or two genuinely great numbers, I'll freely admit, but why they were great wasn't Morrisey droning on at the helm of the vocals.

Yes they are. For the very most part. I'd rather go deaf by stabbing myself in the ears with knives than have to listen to most of them.

Mozzer has been the soundtrack of my life.

He's always had some strange views though.

No matter, he says what he thinks, and at least I can die having heard him sing "stop me if you've heard this one before" live.

All started going downhill when he (Billy) moved to Dorset. Mind you it's still a good gig.

Why is it that everytime we get a thread about a singer people have to post names of songs for a cheap laugh? Stop it! That joke isn't funny anymore!
