The reason i ask is that i'm off to see them on Friday night, playing at the Picture House in Edinburgh and, frankly, i'm giddy with excitement. rotate

Now i'm a massive Hue&Cry fan, one of the forgotten bands of the 80's.

Anyone else a fan?

Remember them but I think they need to be brought straight back down to earth.

Seriously, they were OK but nothing special.

In the car I've got a CD with Labour of Love followed by Taj Mahal's Six days on the road then a different Blues n Trouble track then back to Labour of Love, Taj...etc etc.

3am, empty road,, volume and bass at 11....perfection.

Brilliant band. I hope (and am sure) you'll have a great night.
I think I may be a tiny bit envious.

Were.

The two jazz albums they did under Linn are great, but a shift away from 'Labour of Love'

That was a great track! I've always loved that one.

Edit: Oh dear. It's dated a bit though. Sometimes memories are best left as such. frown

Last time I try to be clever. I was a DJ back then and played their stuff quite a lot so you'd think I could get it right banghead
