I heard on Saturday that Mick, a good friend and customer of mine had sadly passed away frown

The name will not probably immediately much to many here but he was an integral part of the Floyd tours from 72 on and has been accurately described as a "production collossus".

Brain Damage Pink Floyd website said:
It's with much sadness that we bring you the news this morning that Mick Kluczynski passed away on Friday after a short illness. Mick was a key member of the Pink Floyd touring crew from 1972 and highly valued by the band. After many years as the production director of The BRIT Awards, Mick was looking forward to retiring after this year's BRITs.

Mick won the TPi (Total Production International) Lifetime Contribution Award in 2005 and the TPi Awards being held tomorrow (Monday) will be dedicated to him.

More information on his career, including his involvement with Pink Floyd will be shown in our obituary, online very shortly.
