I'm off to see Keane on Friday night at the O2 and just wondered if anyone knew much about the timings that they tend to run there. It says 6:30pm start, but can't believe Keane would come on before 9 and we've got babysitting issues to resolve!

Any guide appreciated!

Assuming it's just Keane and 1 support act (i.e. it's not a whole host of bands or anything) then 6.30pm will be doors open.

9 sounds about right - I've seen a couple of gigs there and 9pm is the norm. When you have seats you can get there bang on time.

Thanks, that's what I was guessing, and I think we've got seats, so should be OK. I dread turning up late and missing some of it, but we'll never get there at 6:30!
Might check who the support act is, come to think of it...

Bare in mind that from the time you park your car to sitting in your seat could be half hour thumbup

Good point, although we'll be on train, so hopefully saves a bit of hassle. Cheers

Ah cool, so you weren't far off!

The main entrance to a seat could still take a while as you walk around the arena (which is in the middle of the dome) and can take a while especially when there's loads of pepole.

This is why I hate London so much. I just checked the TFL site and the last tube is actuall 23:08, but can't imagine them fitting the whole of the O2 arena on on train.

Are we the only country in the world who is this fking stupid! Argh! Looks like I'll be driving then!

Edited to add - Thanks for the heads-up!

OK next question - any tips on where to park. The pre-book is £17, but there is an NCP at North Greenwich station that looks cheaper, just unsure if it is likely to be full by the time we get there and they don't let you pre-book - thoughts?

Holiday Inn, pay and display, £3.50 I think.

3 minutes walk from the car park.
