Bloody hell. Forgot how good this record is. I mean, REALLY good.
Any other neglected CD's you've recently 'rediscovered' ?
Great album ~ do you have later TFF albums ? Not fashionable to like but Roland very underrated IMHO.Any other neglected CD's you've recently 'rediscovered' ?
Rediscovered 'Love' by The Cult a few weeks ago.

Elemental is a great album, and so is Songs from the Big Chair.
I'm a big TFF fan, i've got Roland's solo album kicking about somewhere too.
I'm a big Go West fan too, but the less said about that the better.
I prefer their previous album, The Hurting. Maybe because I got fed up of hearing Everybody Wants To Run the World on telly at every verse end.
Anyway. My latest rediscovery is Welcome To The Pleasuredome. I am sure the title track never sounded quite so good back when it was originally issued. Maybe I had other things to distract me in the 1980s, but the whole album sounds much more together and complete now. At 13m38s WTTPD makes a great driving track.

Songs From The Big Chair is a fantastic sounding album even 24 (yes, 24!) years after it was released. TFF produced some great records and I still love Seeds Of Love as well.
As another poster mentioned, Welcome To The Pleasuredome by Frankie Goes To Hollywood is still an awesome piece of work! Trevor Horn, his musicians (and the band themselves of course), really went for it and it sounds fantastic!
Going off to play both of them on vinyl now!

Been giving "Talk Talk - History revisited"
and "Erasure - The two ring circus"
a good airing recently.
Two great albums that shouldn't be left at the bottom of the pile
Both brilliant albums. Saw Erasure at the Apollo in Manchester a couple of years ago and it has to be one of the best concerts i've ever been to..........never got a chance to sit down. and "Erasure - The two ring circus"
a good airing recently.

Yeah, brilliant piece of work, indeed. Another great (much unheard of) album of theirs was 'Liverpool'. Some fantastic bits of music/lyrics on that LP which featured Rage Hard and Watching the Wildlife. In addition, I had (have somewhere) the 12" vinyl of Rage Hard. A very unique record with the first half being a fantastic build up, like a commentary on the making of a song (listen, you'll see what I mean) and then it climaxed with the introduction of the song proper.
Just off to find....
I have "Songs" on the Mobile Fidelity 24K gold version. I dig it out now and again along with "the Hurting". Last night I delved back in time and listened to Joy Division "Substance", the wonderfully sleazy and creepy "The Art of Falling Apart" by Soft Cell and "Hormonally Yours" by Shakespear's Sister.
