Billy Powell, the keyboard player for the Southern Band Lynyrd Skynyrd has died of a suspected heart attack.

Only Gary Rossington of the original line up is now playing in the band.

That's it settled for the drive back to Scotland tomorrow, One More From The Road is getting played all the way.

I was all set to go and see them in Glasgow in May when LS are on tour - wonder if it will go ahead now? Big loss - RIP.

Why isnt this such big news, I only just found about it one of the best rock bands of all time
I think a skynyrd session is truly in order.


On another note, scuse the pun, shame he got around to listening to that crock of st that kid rock released covering sweet home alabama

The US Tour has been cancelled, but at the moment the UK is still on.
