Whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo?
I had to google him.
Still none the wiser.
Experimental electronic folk. Top bloke, lots of phasing and flanger on his guitar. Check out "Solid Air" & "One World" (my favourites).I had to google him.
Still none the wiser.
Edited to add: "Experimental electronic folk" is maybe putting it a bit strong, I'm not looking to start a mass debate (snigger) on how to categorise the bloke, just to describe what he sounds like to someone who never heard of him.

Shame. Saw him in the Roundhouse circa 76. Great voice.

Danny Baker payed fitting tribute to John Martyn by playing nothing but his songs on his show this afternoon. 2 whole hours.
Baker, who had just found out before he went on air sounded genuinely distraught, and seemed like he wouldn't be able to do the show.
For anyone who doesn't know his work or just wants to enjoy the music this is a link to the show.

Was listening to the show as well today, Robert Elms had played May you Never earlier which bought a tear to my eye and I think Danny did the right thing by letting John's music do the talking. In a sea of st radio stations it's days like this which remind me why I like listening to Radio London so much.
