Linky fixed smile

Steve Vai auctioned off three guitars back in 2001, for the make a noise foundation- a charity set up by Vai to help musicians. The guitars were Red Lace, Neville and PIA...

Red Lace

PIA

Neville

I kept in touch with the winning bidder of the guitars, and two years back he finally decided to sell Neville. I purchased the guitar from him at the beginning of 2007. In a moment of madness, I put it up on ebay in July this year...and it sold...

Regrets, regrets, regrets lol

I VT'd Seville Expo '92 (the Satch / Vai / Bettencourt / Walsh night), and I've still got the tape!

Me too - it was on BBC2, I think. Fantastic performances all round! I've also got something called 'Into The Electric Age' (or something similar) that I think was shown about the same time. Documentary with Satriani, BB King, Bo Diddley, Steve Cropper, etc. Some nice performance clips from JS too. Would love to find it on DVD - the tape's looking a bit worn out!

Have a look at this guy, he's called Fretkillr, he's got over 100 songs on there, and the stuff he can do with an acoustic guitar is amazing. Plus.... he can sing! Here's 3 examples.
