It's fighting for attention between Snow Patrol and The Killers at the moment.

Kings of Leon just gets better the more I listen to it.

Disappointed me Im afraid, the singles are about the best of it.

Much prefer the earlier stuff.

Love the bass of the whole album, certain songs make the door cards vibrate even at low volume. Makes me smile at least.

Loving the album, I'd say best yet.

It's a lovely warm sounding recording - not harsh at all + Love the rhythm section in this band.

In fact I think it's very heartening that something so well written, performed, recorded and mixed can be so popular.

Perhaps there's hope for the music industry yet...

Same. Aha Shake Heartbreak and Youth and Young Manhood and even Because of the Times were far better imo

Sex on Fire is their first mainstream hit but they've been around for years.
If you're a fan of the band and not just someone who heard Sex on Fire on the radio you will be disappointed in the album. Aha Shake Heartbreak is miles better. I do like Use Somebody though.

They seem to be massive at the moment, I'm just glad a decent band are getting played everywhere rather than some of the dreary bks you hear on the radio a lot of the time.
I only started listening to them a couple of months ago, thats after seeing them live twice at festivals in 2007 and 2008, I thought they were really good both times despite not being a huge fan at the time and only knowing the singles.
Now I can't stop listening to 'Because of the Times, which IMO a lot better than the latest offering.
Its still a pretty good album though.

I'm not that keen on Because of the Times tbh. Knocked Up is brilliant but I struggle to think of another song I like off it.

Wasn't sure initially but a firm grower after a few plays. Must say I thought this band was a OHW on the strength of the first album but guess I was wrong...

Big KOL Fan, New album is good, Cyphilis, Use somebody, crawl, closer are the pick. I still prefer the old stuff but glad to see that they are getting a lot more recognition and people will now listen to the older stuff.

Get on You tube and get listening to the back catalogue, the live stuff is pretty good. Personal favourites are Happy Alone, wasted time, soft and king of the rodeo.
