Which new electric guitar

Old hohner les paul copy seen better days so probably gonna get a decent replacement.

There's 3 guitars I like. Anyone know the pro's and con's of them?

Which one, if any, is better or will they all do what I want really (just messing around at home with practice amp etc.

Budget around £500

The 3 I like are:

Fender Telecaster
Fender Jazzmaster
Fender Jaguar


Really love the looks of the Jazzmaster and Jaguar but no idea if they're any good compared to the Telecaster. The Jazzmaster and Jaguar look pretty similar but I'd want the "right one" if I went for either.

Fender Jazzmasters are superb, I personally prefer them over any other Fender ( yes even the strat ), they are great looking, excellent to play and a little different to the norm.

I got really annoyed with my Jag. Keeping it in tune, strings popping out of bridge, rattles.

I'd go for the Tele.

There is a reason the tele is as ubiquitous as it is and the others are oddball choices. Jags and Jazzmasters (love the jms actually) have a cool jangly sound, but the tele is a better thought out instrument.

Of the three, choose a Tele.

However, IF you can find one, try a Hohner SG Lion. My search continues.....
