Old blues singer, white guy played Glastonbury, Jools Holland quite recently.

Plays on his own, but can't remember his name.

Please help smile

Was on one of the Radio 1 evening shows last week.

Brilliant performance, I'd love to spend an evenings drinking with him.

Yep, He was on Radcliffe & Maconie the other week asking where he could buy Thunderbird (The Drink).
I'm just reading a book called Ghost Riders about the American Nomads like Steve who are literally bums riding the rails etc. Quite good TBH.

Yep, was Radcliffe and Maconie, which is BBC R2, not Radio 1. Quite good, but I don't personally get the fascination with him. He's no SRV or even Clapton.

Was on Colin Murray Show last week. Which is very much Radio 1. Not all of us are old enough to listen to Radio 2.

It was fantastic, tried to get tickets but had more chance of getting a date with Dannii Minogue. frown

Tickets sold on ebay for £5-6k. Good show though, i'm surprised i've not worn my copy of the Doovde out!

Have you listened to much of Jack Bruce's solo career? Fantastic! thumbup

Saw him live a month or so ago. Much better live than he comes across in recordings. A definite must see if you like him.

Well, that's not exactly a fair comparison, is it? Given that he plays a guitar with 3 strings, unaccompanied, apart from a box that he kicks rhythmically, he's hardly setting himself up as a guitar hero, is he? Blues isn't only measured in guitar virtuosity. And there are far better players out there than Clapton et al, but that's a whole other subject.
