They are my favourite band but everyone I mention them to just stares at me blankly.

Anyone familiar with their work?

I have the Bright Eyes album, which I've listened to a couple of times but can't get into it, so I've not listened to it again. Should I persevere then, do you think?

Which album do you have?

You know what, I don't know. A friend bought it for me so I've never really paid much attention to the name of it. I've just looked at Amazon and I see he's been about for a while, I think it could be I'm Wide Awake It's Morning as the cover seems familiar. I will dig it out tonight and have another listen!
