Just got back from seeing him at the Forum (London) , he put on a great performance. Old classics and in the middle of it played the new album 'Arena' from begining to end!

I have to say for me the atmosphere was sucked out of the place by the house lights being on for the whole show and the usual tools working in security being overly zealous when it came to stopping people with mobile phones videoing it. The house lights being on the whole time gave it the feeling of something a bit more than a soundcheck but not quite a gig. I've not been to the Forum since the first half of this year but the shows I saw then didn't have the house lights left on. I asked a security guy about it and he said it was ' so we can see mate' Thanks then, don't worry about the paying customer and the experience they are expecting.

Praire Prince on drums with him was awsome and although Kasim Sultan wasn't on bass (keyboards and guitar) its always great to see him play too.

Anyother Todd fans out there on here that have seen him play this time round?

I'm old enough to have seen him in 1976(I think)when he first toured the UK and several times since. The last time was at the Royal Festival Hall three or four years ago where the sound was awful and we were about as far away from the stage as you could get without leaving the building so it was nothing special. He's a brilliant musician though don't you think? The production on some of his old albums is absolutely amazing, stuff like The Spark of Life from the Todd double album is three dimensional genius and hilarious at the same time.

Todds musicianship is utterly superb yes, and his playing live last night was nothing short of sublime. The only thing that was a dissapointment was that he didn't play his ex-clapton SG, you know the one thats painted with psychedelic patterns that clapton had during the cream era, but thats just me being a guitar geek. (he played hs green strat for the whole show)

I've only seen him once before at the Royal Festival Hall 3 or 4 years ago now. I'm too young to have seen him in the 70's but it must have been something pretty special for those of you who did.

I saw Todd & Utopia at the Venue in Victoria in the early eighties when virtually the whole gig consisted of the audience shouting requests and the band just picking it up and playing everything they were asked. One of the best gigs I've ever been to, an experience that colours your judgement about music forever after.

Never seen him live, but his records are just genius! There is little or nothing more beautiful in music than Just One Victory at the end of A Wizard A True Star. Production-wise, the kitchen sink goes in relatively early!!
