Just got back from seeing Roddy Frame play in Birmingham tonite. Bloody hell he can play - I haven't seen him for a number of years so didn't really know what to expect as it was just him and an acoustic.

He played a bunch of new stuff but also loads of his early stuff from High Land Hard Rain - he was pure genius. If anyone gets the chance to see him then grab it - it was two hours well spent!

No surprises there then. Caught my ear as something just a little bit special from the first Aztech Camera song I ever heard!

Aye - especially considering he was about 16 when he wrote most of High Land Hard Rain.

I wondered why they didn't make it bigger and the thought occurred to me whether it was because most people couldn't pick up a guitar and play their stuff unlike most bands of that ilk when you could learn the songs pretty quickly. I guess it comes down to accessibility...
