So I am alone at home listening to music that brings out emotion.

Every artist and their dog has had a crack at hallelujah but I think this is the best version?

Am I right?

It's fking good.

Cohen's deserves respect, obviously.

Wainwright's also good.

I also like the Alison Crowe recording.

Correct. Tragic the way he died and makes this song eerie.

But I had just been listening to this: http://www.rathergood.com/independent_woman/

And you've rather spoiled my mood now!

I find Jeff Buckley overrated frankly.

The best version was by the man who wrote it.

Jeffs best song by a mile, and eerie.

Everybody Here Wants You.

Agreed. He is so under-rated because his studio/album stuff is poor compared to his live.

It was longer than two mins. But it was good while it lasted.

There is an Asia forum wink

Oh well. I remember listening to Jeff Buckley's album when I was at school.

I never realised until googling him this year that he had died. Shame.
