Many, many singers aren't to my taste and I don't listen to them. I do, however, acknowledge that they have singing talent and ability. Winehouse? No. Can't see it/hear it at all. Rubbish.

Add to that the fact that she's also ugly and a fking idiot, and you can see why I'm not a fan, and am flabbergasted by anyone being so.

You don't have to now, try buying a decent newspaper, or not reading the showbiz session of the st ones.

The anti Doherty and Whinehouse stuff is really quite annoying, they're antics don't affect you in any way, so get the fk over it, the only thing they do which has any sort of impact on your life is make music, and both have been exceptionally good at that. For me, Back to Black is one of the best female albums of the 21st Century.
