I saw it. It weas OK but did miss out a lot of influencial people from Guitar history. Still, you can only fit so much into an hour. Iggy Pop's guitarist seems to have been/is still a bit of an odd character.

Biggest question though - why the hell did they have Yentob presenting it?

Didn't see it, but i did stumble across on BBC4 on Sunday night a documentry on Les Paul. That was pretty good.

It wasn't a one off. There is a few parts to it.
I thought Yentob was pretty good.

The first show was crap,the second and last were better.But where was Clapton?

yes Clapton and Brian May were in there, though Brian May was only on there as one of Steve Vai's guitar heroes.

All in all I thought it was a good program. It would've been impossible to include everyone - it would've been about 50 hours long! smile

Some bloody nice guitars too.

Slightly OT but I've always been really amused by the fact that his surname backwards is "Botney"
