The beeb are showing an hour of DGs Gdansk gig on Friday at 9:10 (also repeated on Saturday and Monday.

David Gilmour, the guitar and voice of Pink Floyd, plays live to 50,000 people against the historical backdrop of the Gdansk shipyards in Poland, to celebrate the 26th anniversary of the Solidarity movement.

Gilmour and his band, featuring Floyd's Rick Wright and Roxy Music's Phil Manzanera, perform a mixture from Gilmour's On An Island album and Floyd songs including Wish You Were Here and Comfortably Numb. The band are backed by the string section of the Baltic Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.

Is this boxed set worth buying if one already has the Albert Hall one as they're both of the same tour?

This concert he played with a 40-strong string section of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra and also had 6 video screens - one for each member of the band, which they didn't do at the other shows.

I've not seen the Albert Hall show, so I've know idea how they compare, although I might order that as I'll probably get it quicker than the 5disc set of the Gdansk show
