Voodoo Child - the collection.

It's a double CD of all his best songs.

I guess there'll be more posts saying that this album is better than that one, etc, etc.

I guess the key is do you go for a compilation of most of his 'popular' stuff - or go for one of the classic albums of all time - which is 'Are you experienced'

At the end of the day - if you get any compilation album you can't go wrong as they'll mostly be very similiar.

If you're down Basingstoke or Ascot way anytime soon - then you're more than welcome to borrow my CDs.

Thursday for me is pants.

5 is kinda pushing it - and our canteen closes at 4 - so no coffee or munchies frown

I could just leave them on Reception for you?

Have to be with the missus tomorrow daytime otherwise I would quite happily have popped down. Think I'll go with plan A and get your recommendation from HMV.

Thanks anyway Mark.

Has to be the ultimate experience imo. First Hendrix collection I got, and now any of the other "greatest hits" just sound in the wrong order!

I would agree with "The Ultimate Experience" as a good starter. Pity it wasn't around when I ended up buying "Band of Gypsys" as the 1st sample many years ago...
