Custom fit monitors

I have just had a fitting for custom fit monitors.
Anyone else been there / done that?
Basicly they fill your ear with silicon to cast your ear and then make up the monitors.
I have gone for the single driver with Teflon cables.
Supposedly 10x better than my Shure EC2s

got custom fit earplugs, same silicon mold technique... very good, with changable value filters (if pricey)
