looking for a decent quality cartridge for my dj decks [stanton st-100's] as i can't get oem stylii any more.

i don't scratch and aim for high quality reproduction so wanting something that can take an elliptical stylus.

was thinking about the shure m97xe as i can get them for under £50 each from the US, but ideally want to buy this week as have just broken my last needle being an idiot.

would post on a hifi forum but my membership has lapsed and can't be bothered reregistering on a forum i don't use.

cheers,
phil.

Audio Technica 95 or 110 would do the job.

Ortofon Concorde... Used em for years and years... Best sound quality from a "DJ" Cart in my experience... Not the best for scratching, but I'm a House DJ so I don't scratch really...

Ortofon dj s gets my vote - not as cool looking as a concore, but you can change the tracking angle etc to suit your application.

I've used em for years, they don't break the bank, and can survive drunk mates at a party.

Oh, and they track during my budget attempts at scratching, too.
