I've been listening to some of their stuff on youtube, and its clear I've been missing out on some epic music , so now its time to buy an album.

I've had a brief look around and it appears that there isn't a greatest hits album, so could anyone recommend an album to introduce more of their music to me

Ta in advance thumbup

I remember as a kid the day that came out. I went to my local record shop after school to buy it.

Then got home and played it all night long, and was so disappointed with it cry

Mind you - when they came to Dublin on that tour .... that was my first gig thumbup

Still hate it though!

AC/DC live at Donnington 91. All their hits played loud and brilliantly. The perfect place to start IMO

ACDC have a new album out this year and hopefully a world tour will follow.

See www.acdc.com for a sneak preview of the new single.

Powerage for me is their best although I (coincidentally) listened to 'For those about to rock' a couple of hours ago and forgot how good that is… ‘Spellbound’ – what a great track…

highway to hell.
my favorite acdc album the band played very tight and it has a slightly funky sound to it thanks to producer Mutt Lange but still gnarly, loud and sleazy as well of course. biggrin

Quite. The last 'sleazy' album from the band, sadly. frown
'Touch Too Much'....

Powerage all the way IMO, the highlight from the Bon era IMO yes

Night Of The Long Knives off For Those About To Rock is a hidden gem too! (i also heard "Sink The Pink" for the first time in a little while the other day too, another great stomp along number!)

Dirty Deeds, Back In Black and Highway are all belters too! music

And another one biggrin

Have the intro to "You Shook Me All Night Long" as my ringtone - Surprising the number of people who want to know who it is (from a positive perspective wink )
