Got the tribute band bug now........I have been to see Aussie Floyd twice now, and they are a superb Pink Floyd tribute band.

Emerson Lake & Palmer was another of my favorit band back in the 70's, do they have a tribute band???

Not to mention the inimitable (and in my view really rather wonderful) Hayseed Dixie smile

Not sure if Emerson Lake & Palmer have a Tribute band, but The Keith Emerson band are supposed to be amazing and its Emo himself on keyboards so you cant get much better than that.

As tribute bands go the Bootleg Beatles and Bjorn Again are the best.

That's an interesting thought - "From the Jam" have two out of the three original members of The Jam, are they a Tribute act or are they the real thing? smile

One of the lovely tribute band stories is that of Brian Wilson's backing band.
He happened to catch a Beach Boys tribute band, and was so impressed that he asked them to become his own band. I saw him/them last year, and it was clear that they were fanatical about the music. Where an original band would bodge up a live set, missing fancy bits out, these guys tried to replicate exactly the original sound. With Brian's very technical sound, they went the extra mile, ensuring you heard the bass harmonica, the saxophone reed, and the cellos hidden in the bridge of Good Vibrations. A stunning performance.

I would've loved to see ELP back then, unfortuneatly i was born in 1986 so ive missed out in any chance to see them live. Unless they get back together which is hiighly unlikely.

Yea im from Peterhead, lived in Aberdeen briefly but back to the head for now

The Bon Jovi Experience

If you like Bon Jovi you will find it hard to distinguish if you really get into it - the best part if they they are like Bon Jovi of 10 years ago and their setlists are much more appealing - very good.
