Anyone else got it?

I bought it on impulse the other day, despite having all the tracks on their studio albums already, and it's really rather good.

It got me through the entirity of an immense traffic jam on the M40 on Sunday (I listened to it one and a half times through before the traffic exceeded 20mph!) Did come periolously close to blowing my car's speakers up though. You have to listen to Muse loud. smile

Guessing your on about HAARP. Agreed it is indeed really rather good. It's actually my first Muse album, although I have been listening to alot of thier stuff recently.

Yep, that's the one!

Have you ever seen them live? They are absolutely immense. What's more they're incredible musicians - they'll play everything from Soshtakovich-style classical piano solos to dance beats in a single track with just about every part of the rock/metal spectrum covered in between.

There were a couple of notable absences from the album (what's that one with all the distorted harmonics in the intro - Bliss? Hysteria?) but I suppose they're already dealt with on the last live album.

Well that was a brilliant gig, right at the front, didnt rain, good place to have the gig (marlay park)
Only bad points from it was after it finished yoy have a hour walk to the special bus service into dublin then the hour and a half que, then the hour bus ride. And 5.50 euros for a pint! Other than that brilliant gig.

Might get it if I see it on offer, I was very impressed when Hullabaloo came out, but didn't get round to getting the Absolution tour DVD because it didn't have many tracks on it...

The DVD has an impressive number of tracks, including some older ones. The CD is pretty awesome too - sounds very 'live', but not ragged.

Gotta see when they're next touring round these parts...

Sounds just like the Tiesto gig I went to at Ballinlough Castle two weeks ago. rolleyes

Back on topic... I've had the pleasure of seeing Muse play live twice. First time was at Newcastle Arena, the second time at the Roskilde Festival. Best. Live. Band. Ever.

Check out "Absolution". I've got all of their albums, and in my honest opinion this one's head and shoulders above the others.

Saw them earlier in the year, music was good but long pauses between tracks and very little interaction with the crowd. Good gig still but IMO not up to the best live act ever tag.

Saw them at V last weekend. Agree with the lack of interaction but my god what a show! A true event. Seen some great bands live but Muse are in a different league.

yes

Simply better than any other band I've seen. Maybe I was lucky at the gig I saw (mainstage at Glasto a few years back), but I've seen plenty of big-name rock and indie bands and none of them came close. I don't remember them being particularly dull with the crowd, but there again, I don't think they're one of those "Let me hear you SCREAM!!!!!! ....LOUDER!!" bands.

Not fair, totally different type of show. I'm a huge Rammstein fan and have seen em live 3 times (got the burns to prove it) but Muse is an entirely different gig, much more of a musical mystery tour with the best effects guitarist alive today
