Just had the Cocteau Twins (Lullabies to Violaine 1+2) and This Mortal Coil (It'll end in tears) CD's come from Amazon. I remeber listening to these and other 4AD bands on John Peel many years ago, and never being able to find the albums. Now I have, they sound just as good as I remember on the radio! It's how I remembered 80's music, but it doesn't sound today like 80's music, it sounds just as fresh and creative as when they were first recorded, at least, to me. I bought a Delerium CD too (as I love the track 'Silence'), but all in all, the This Mortal Coil album sounds more fresh!

I love Amazon!

Brilliant stuff, 4AD was such a good label also brought us Bauhaus, Gus Gus, Dead Can Dance and The Pixies!

Cocteau Twins - Heaven or last Vegas. In my all time top 5 albums.

When I was 13 or so, this was my tippy-top favourite song:

Not to mention everything that Tanya Donelly's been involved in throughout her career from early Muses and Breeders stuff right through to her solo stuff these days.

great site, but £4.50 per track! yikes, just one 32 track double CD for the Cocteau Twins cost a little over £10 on Amazon!
