BurgerKing and Laura Ashley

What the hell have they got to do with music .......

Well, not a lot to be honest. But I was in Camberley this afternoon, and in BurgerKing they were playing early Deep Purple, early Chris de Burgh, etc. Then later, in Laura Ashley, they were playing early Eric Clapton.

Made a very pleasant change from the usual drivel on offer.

To start with I had to double-take ..... I was there thinking "hang on - that sounds like Speed King"

That said - they didn't play one of my top 10 songs of all time - Child in Time.

Hey hey, to tell the truth, and it ain't nobodys business if I do, but it's too early in the morning now its after midnight, I do feel wonderful tonight, and it's nothing to do with cocaine. So before you accuse me or anything - I honestly can't stand Clapton
