cool now thats a properly lovely looking instrument, if i was still a keen a guitarist as i used to be, i'd be sorely tempted, always saw those model Gretsch's a very viable alternative to a 335 Dot in some ways
shouldn't have too much trouble shifting that!

contemplating putting my Tele up for sale soon, 'bout time i got back into bass mode again...

beautiful isn't it. don't want to get rid but by hand is being forced.

i bought it over an epiphone 335 as it was a bit different to the norm and [imo] a lot better made and finished. much lighter too, although thicker in the body so not to everyone's taste. sounds decent as an acoustic as well.

the main diff. is in the pickups as the dearmonds are somewhere between a humbucker and a p90 in terms of sound. very vintage sounding, lovely with a touch of reverb or some tape echo. i really want a 3 pickup gretsch anniversary like jack white's, but that will have to wait a year or threewink

tis going on fleabay as wll, if they'll stop rejecting my listing!

Sorry to hear you're selling it - I was bought exactly the same Gretsch as a birthday present back in November and have hardly put the thing down!

I'm sure you'll sell it easily enough though as they're lovely...
