Is it just my alcohol-fulled stupor but is their music "alright"?

I like 'Slave to love' and 'Love is the drug'. They are not really similar at all.

Hugely underrated band. Ferry is the epitome of cool, even today. Remember borrowing the "Best Of Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music" tape from my Dad on a holiday trip to Cornwall when I was 12 (1987) and loving every minute of it.

Proper music.

I am also in the camp that thinks that Ferry's cover version of Jealous Guy is better than Lennon's original (though I may well be burnt as a heretic for saying this)

Much as I hate to admit it, but I don't mind Roxy Music either.

I suppose it was my mum's 'era' to a degree, so hours in the car listening to it kind of ingrains it in the mind, that and the Fine Young Cannibals

Unfortunately the old man was in a time warp so I also like Roy Orbison paperbag

I'm only 28!

I do too. It can actually invoke a slight dampening of the eye in the right frame of mind.

The best Roxy Music has to be the early stuff though, the first three or four albums.

They were on TOTP2 the other week.

I like Mr Ferry , had a bit of a crush on him in the 80's.

ooooh is the Lord S back today, might have a bit of that playing tonight.
