take lessons?
And practice.
Lots.
You go through phases when learning to play - excitement when you first start, then after a couple of years and a few grades it gets a little tedious. That is the time to really stick at it, because once you get through the tedium of the middle grades and get to the higher grades, the reward of self-satisfaction is truly wonderful.
People will have huge envy of your ability, and there is nothing more theraputic than bashing out a few classic piano tracks.
