I love it, very original and a bit quirky.

you need to listen to sharon jones & the dap kings.

the dap kings are the house band of daptones records. they were the backing band for wino's 'back to black' album, which was recorded at daptone studios with mark ronson largely using the dap's style and sound as his own.

duffy and the girl you link to are spawned from that, and no doubt its going to be the 'in' sound as everyone climbs on the bandwagon.

anyway, original is always the best [well, if you can call it that, its just a continuation of soul/funk], so here you go:

Just listening to SJ&TDK, loving it!

Reminds me of my youth going to Northern Soul dances!

Went to see her in February, supporting Nouvelle Vague. Was a little disappointed with the album, think she's a lot better live tbh. She looks about 24-25 in person as well.

Bought the album on the strength of the single. Totally different to my normal (wide) range of music. Love the track but can't get into the rest of it, will prolly give it to my 16YO daughter. Oh and I can't stand winewe.

The video for NSAM is scary; if she really is 16 then I'm a baaad man hehe
