Anyone else heard this? Granted, coldplay are normally ste, but this is brilliant

I couldn't agree less. I own their previous 2 albums which are brilliant, chock full of what I'd call anthems. Viva La Vida sounds awful to me, seems they've forgotten how to make a melody or something vaguely catchy. Violet hill is the pick of the bunch which as I'm sure most will agree is far from their best.

I struggled with their latest offering, but on the 3rd listen, it clicked. It's different, but once it clicks an enjoyable listen. I don't listen to Coldplay a great deal, but think that X&Y would be amongst my top 10 albums.
