I have 2 DW Collectors (1 maple, 1 birch), both the same sizes - 10, 12 ,14 rack, 16 floor, 22 bass, 13 snare at my home studio and a Traps E450 electronic kit in the practise room.
At the 2nd studio I am awaiting delivery of a Mapex M Pro endorsement kit in the same sizes as the above DWs.
For covers gigs I use a Yamaha Hipgig as I'm too lazy to use a large kit on these gigs and the Hipgig is really fast to set up and pack away.
The reason i have all this gear and 2 studios is that I've been pro since 1987 and teaching privately (and in schools) since 1993.

The home studio is also a recording studio. The birch DW has internal mikes and records really well.

Piccy...

I'm a drummer (well I try to be).

Roland TD10 + TDW1 - means I can play without being lynched by the neighbours.

It arrived this morning.

My Mapex Pro M endorsement kit. I'll post a pic once I've got it to the other studio and set it upbiggrin. With the amount of feckin packaging they seem to use these days it might be a while before that happens thoughrolleyes.

On my fifth lesson now, and permanently searching ebay for a decent, cheapish electric kit. Now I know I'm enjoying it I need to upgrade from pots and pans smile

I've got a set of Traps E450 if you're interested. Hardly used. PM me for details if you fancy 'em.

Have been playing since September last year, currently playing along to Queens of the Stone Age, no one knows-Can't get the solo at the end and some of the fills are a right mess, also I seem to be making up bits as I go along...silly

Actually scratch chat, I haven't started playing drums properly yet

Set the kit up this morning. Still waiting for the Black Panther snare, other snare stand, boom arm for splash and boom stand for 18" crash.
Will post final pic once it all arrives.[biggrin]
