Can anyone help? Who sang the song where the chorus was.... 'I want to stand with you on a mountain, I want to bathe with you in the sea, I want to lie like this forever until the sun goes down on me'?

I heard a cover of it this morning that had been sung as a dance version and it was really good but I missed who was singing it. I can search for the original band and then hopefully find out who did the cover version. Thanks anyone. S

Savage Garden - I THINK it is Truly madly deeply, but not sure.

Oh dear.

I can imagine it has chord stabs and a happy-sounding European female singer.

I think the dance cover is by Cascada and the least said about them the better!

The cover is by Cascada, song is 'Truly, Madly, Deeply' IIRC.

Damn, beaten to it.

If you remember some random lines from songs, but have no clues about the name, try putting the phrase into Google. There are lots of song lyric sites out there and it'll more than likely pick it up.

Oi, don't say things like that, it could ruin my day - why, this afternoon I was sat singing that song away to myself desperately trying to remember who sung it, I knew the fellow was in a different band etc.. Then I finally get it, and feel pleased with myself!!

I've been known to loiter in crap discos, too. Look out for the dark corners. That shadowy figure is me.

I have got some DMC mixes of Savage Garden stuff (Dance mixes of the originals rather than the Cascada rubbish)

"To the moon and back" (I think it is the Almighty mix, but would have to check.......)

Suprisingly good.....
