I have pretty broad tastes (though I do draw the line at Country)

I bought Christina Aguilera - Unplugged and a lot of it is really rather good

What album have you been surprised by ?

Despite being a true fan of music with the following attributes - super heavy, super fast, distorted-guitar influenced i found myself suprised to be quite liking the other halfs Best Of Anastasia album. Plus she looks very nice too smile

I have very similar tastes to you but I have found myself enjoying Mrs Dead's Snow Patrol Albums recently.

Chas & Dave, Digitally Remastered. £22.99 in HMV. It's f-in brilliant!

I never realized the depth & breadth (and haunting lyrics) of their earlier stuff.

well anything, as long as it's honest and heartfelt and they've done a bit of 'the rounds'.

none of this instant star shyte, if you can't sing, Victoria... (and i have the multi-track of all the concerts, you shallow footy fekkin, insecure... ...2, 3, 4...5 ...anyway.)

if there's something that you get passionate about musically, then there's a hope, if something actually causes a bit of passion, a bit of emotion (apart from drunken fumblings trying to get off with a 13 year old girls aloud fan...), then fair play...

enjoy!

Been getting into my Aussie hip hop lately, especially the Herd.

Search out Starship Troopers, or the Metres Gained. It's good stuff

Also had Interpol - Our Love to Admire sitting around for about 5 months before listening to it. And actually wasn't bad.

You have no idea what you are talking about, get yourself some Wurzels albums and then you will understand what real music is all about.
