Farnham is Australian isn't he?

Knopfler is a great musician. Also has an awesome car collection.

I never looked Farnham up. I never heard him speak, only sing; therefore, couldn't listen for an Aussie accent. May very well be, let me see....ETA: My mistake, he is English-Born, but Australian (Wiki).

Knopfler was born in Scotland; I am striking out here. smile Below are the quick facts on the three mentioned artists "birthings":

Mark Freuder Knopfler OBE (born August 12, 1949, Glasgow, Scotland)

Sir Thomas Jones Woodward, OBE (born 7 June 1940), known by his stage name Tom Jones, is a Welsh pop music singer particularly noted for his powerful voice. He was born in Treforest, Pontypridd, near Cardiff in South Wales, United Kingdom.

John Peter Farnham, AO (born July 1, 1949) is an English-born Australian pop singer. Born in Dagenham, East London, United Kingdom, Farnham spent the first years of his life in England before migrating to Australia in 1959.

Thumbs of steel !
Only Stanley Clarke can match Mark King in the "hot thumb action stakes". Pity that most of Level 42's outpu sounds so dated now......
