Anyone know what date the line up is announced and what date the tickets go on sale?

Mean fiddler website is poor.

and they're not sponsered by carling anymore.

Failing this does anyone have any rumours on the line up?

Cheers

Last year the lineup was announced half an hour before tickets go on sale.

If you have the choice, go to Leeds - I first went because Reading tickets sold out faster but kept going because it's a nicer venue.

Last year was the least fun for me. The bands were not as good as in past years. Chlli peppers were totally crap and didn't want to be there (I was at leeds). The only bands worth seeing were bloc party, smashing pumpkins and arcade fire.
I felt nearly too old to be there (im 21) surrounded by hundreds of 16 year olds in luminous 'nu rave' crap outfits.

Leeds will have to have a brilliant lineup for for me to buy a weekend ticket.

Mrs R and I were debating if we go or not last night. The annoying thing is there are bands on each day that one of us really wants to see! I went the year before last and know what you mean about feeling old too.
