Anyone want to recommend me an album? Just heard their cover of Superstar on an advert and that reminded me of my well, youth smile when I had couple of their albums on tape. I am going to order a CD but wondered which one people thought was best?

I would go for an early one like Bad Moon Rising

or a mid period one like Daydream Nation, their masterwork.

Your Mileage may vary, the interest in the music may go up as well as down

Day Dream Nation probably the best one, Dirty from '92 probably most accessible - check out 100% & Sugar Kane, both top class.

I enjoyed "Dirty".

I have 100% on orange concentric groove 10" vinyl, somewhere...

Nice one. Found the video on You Tube yesterday, always thought it was a good one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iva_Y9W3hJ0

Awesome video! it's been a while since I have heard that, brings back memores of being very trashed in Reading's After Dark 'club'. Happy Days.

most accessible -- sister, daydream nation

most art-wanky - bad moon rising, sonic youth,

good but patchy - evol

overrated - dirty -- load of grunge and poor butch vig sludge

don't bother- anything since at least 94 or so!
