As the title says really, I am really bored of my music at the moment.

I am not really keen on thrash metal, and enjoy anything with a piano smile

Many thanks,

Matt.

Newton Faulkner - Hand Built by Robots
Not so much piano as acoustic guitar but still easy on the ears.

check out a band called Spain, and either The Blue Moods Of or She Haunts My Dreams albums.

This song is just sublime - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=rn8MWBVAMhE . Also live version here, although sound not great - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=BrzEmt3QLCc&feat...

Brilliant stuff, and much better than the easy listerning pap you get in the charts

I like it a lot but one or two tracks are quite jarring...

Goldfrapp - Seventh Tree
Zero7 - Simple Things
Damien Rice - O
Air - Talkie Walkie
David Gray - White Ladder wink
Turin Brakes - Ether Song
Nick Drake - Pink Moon

Newton Faulkner and Sigur Ros as suggested.

Some are more recent than others, but it should keep you off the Dido for a bit biggrin
