A Good Slopping Out

Help please peeps, watched an episode of Lock Stock on M&M last Thursday night and at the end they are playing a version of "Don't walk away Renee" by an artist with an incredible voice,

So any ideas as to whom it might be? it's driving me mad as I can't get any info.

Afraid i don't know. Does it not say it in the film credits at the end? Musical credits usually come up right at the very end, giving song title, writer, artist, year etc etc

Regrettably no, first place I looked. The credits are fairly limited, did a search and yep there is a CD available but can't find "Don't walk away" listed

OH well the hunt continues, smile

Billy Bragg did a cover of this song. Bearing in mind the film is about Chirpy Chappie Cockneys, perhaps this is the version played?

Cheers Guys Tried a few Left Banke tracks over the weekend, really doesn’t sound like this track I've got. This "Guy" sounds a little like Bonny Tyler but more blusey, almost Ottis Reding ish.

So the hunt goes on....

The Four Tops did a version, but think it could be Rick Price you are looking for.

Cheers RH but nope not him either, a lot more earthier with a far heavier backing.
