Less than half way through it, but thought I'd put up a post to say how good it is so far, well worth picking up a copy if you've got some time to spare, the sort of thing you cant stop re-reading. Not the most literary of bios, but has some very very good stories in it

I'm up to the part when they replace Adler with Sorum. A top read!

Duff ever write a book - always found him interesting, esp stories of his house in LA being completely empty with a Testarossa on the drive. Anyone know?

I guess on the same lines, for those who havent read it also consider 'the dirt' all about Motley Crue... OMG! The stories in that are so bad you simply could not make them up!

I got the Heroin Diaries for christmas and that makes interesting reading too...!

Was wondering what it was like, The Dirt is certainly an interesting read. Although my favorite Rock auto/bio is Ian Hunters 'Diary of a rock and roll star' a really great read, seems very honest about it all. Not rock and roll mayhem but if you like rock and/or mott the hoople give it a go.

"Crazy From the Heat" David Lee Roth's worth reading as well, mad '80's tales involving dwarfs, jack daniels & cars. Quality.

I've just finished this book and thoroughly recommend it. It normally takes me about 6 months to read a book, but got through this in 6 days! rotate

Bought it yesterday and it's looking like it will be a really good read.

Anyone read 'Scar Tissue' by Anthony Kiedis (Red Hot Chillis) it's another really good book and couldn't put it down when I first bought it. How that guy is still alive is anyones guess, also gives new meanings to some of his songs like Under the Bridge and Scar Tissue.....cracking read.
