I'm trying to buy the Arturia Vintage Collection software synth bundle.

My local Sound Control doesn't have any in stock and wants me to pay in full before they'll order me one. Knowing, from previous experience, how long it takes them to get ordered items I think I'd rather the money stayed in my bank account, thanks.

All the other music retailers who sell it online only use couriers. The problem with couriers is that I have to be in for the delivery or lube-up my arse for a thorough shafting to get Saturday delivery. Why won't they use the Royal Mail who'd simply take the delivery to the local sorting office five minutes away if I'm not in?

At what point in history was it decided that the customer should have to bend-over backwards before they'd be allowed to part with their cash?

Probably when everyone wanted the cheapest products possible (they use the same couriers because they get a bulk deal - I know I wish that Dabs would use someone else, but they won't).
