There must be a few fans of him lurking around here. I discovered his music a few weeks back and I'm now hooked; Gypsy Jazz at it's very best. I heartily recommend people look him up on YouTube, 'Minor Swing' is a particular favourite of minemusic

And he plays like that with only two working fingers on his left hand...

He was very good. He lived a nice life, and was so well thought of that people used to send out a search party for him, pick him up take him to an event and he'd pick up the guitar and go at it - totally natural and loving every minute.

Have a BIG book of his music with his story from the Americas which I want to get my teeth into in the new year.

Search ' Joscho Stephan ' on you tube and play Django's Tiger - a bit like Reinhardt on ffwd, but flawless playing and totally derived from Django's influences.
