I just finished watching this (recorded it from last night). Was good smile Doesn't really tell Floyd fans anything they didn't already know. But its a good view none the less. Especially as it contains fresh interviews with the 4 surviving members.

Just watched it having taped it when it was on. Brilliant program. I've always loved Pink Floyd's music but I didn't know their story and never understood how they'd got from their formation, through Dark Side of the Moon, to Division Bell, or why they'd done nothing else together since. Now I understand much better. I thought it was a brilliant 'idiot's guide' for someone like me who is a huge fan, but picked up on their work quite late on in their existence - probably just before Division Bell came out - and therefore didn't really know the band's background but did want to find out. It's all crystal clear now.

If you liked that then you will probably like 'David Gilmour's Remember The Night, Live At The Royal Albert Hall, 2 Disc Special'.
Recorded live at The Royal Albert Hall, legendary Pink Floyd guitarist, singer, and songwriter David Gilmour plays his Pink Floyd classics, as well as his solo songs from his album On An Island. Special guests include David Bowie (on Comfortably Numb), Robert Wyatt and Crosby & Nash.

The second disc consisting of out-takes from the tour, giving great insight into the man and his music.
Will be going to HMV's tomorrow to purchase this fabulous DVD (having heard/seen it for the first time on Christmas day).

Absolutely my favourite piece of work in my entire musical collection. Stunning!
