So my 14yr old son wants to start playing the drums & I have been offered a Drum Kit made by (I think, Hohner?), consists of 22" Bass drum, 2 toms - 12" & 13", 1 x 16" floor tom, Snare drum, high hat (plus 'upgraded' Pearl CX-500 high hat cymbals) and Cymbal (plus upgraded Pearl 16" cymbal) and stool, all in apparently good condition although the 'skins' are showing signs of use.

So to all you Drummers does £100 sound a fair price? - I have no idea what a kit costs.

Yes, I thought it seemed a good deal but as I really know nothing about them I thought I'd ask for advice, It certainly looks alot of kit for £100 and I suppose that if he doesn't take to drumming that I'd probably be able to get my money back if I sold them on.

Well I bought it, all setup and going in the hallway - beginning to wish I hadn't though as the tuneless bashing is giving me an earache.

Anyone know any good drum teachers?........ rolleyes
